Harbour View 4 is a second floor 4 bedroom apartment ideal for contractors working within the area or sailing crew requiring easy access to Gosport’s marina’s that are within a few minutes short walk. The property is sat just back from the harbour foreshore and has been recently converted, upgraded and furnished to a good 3 * star standard with easy access to the pedestrianised High Street and local transport links. The apartment though is not ideally suited for families.

The prices advertised on our website are for up to 4 guests with 3 of the bedrooms having large 5ft king size double beds (which convert to create 2 singles) with the 4th accommodating a pair of adult sized bunk beds. However, the property can possibly sleep up to 8 guests with those over 4 being charged at an additional £50 per person, per week/part week.

All beds are made up with crisp cotton linen and fresh towels with all the bedroom windows looking towards the harbour mouth.

Child cots and highchairs are also available at no extra cost. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child’s bedding).

Bathrooms

The apartment boasts 2 shower rooms with ceramic tiled floors and walls, 2 large corner showers, toilets and wash hand basins with shaving mirrors and tall wall mounted towel rails. Fresh towels are provided for each guest and are laid out on beds prior to your arrival.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fitted with all essential mod cons with clean modern sleek units, a free standing fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, plus dining seating for up to 6.

Living room

The lounge accommodates a large corner sofa, bean bags for additional informal seating and a flat screen TV/DVD and will comfortably seat 6.

Please Note

The apartment is fully equipped and simply thought out but it should be pointed out that if the property is booked for the full maximum of 8 guests then it would not be possible to seat all 8 within the kitchen or within the lounge at one time.

Some of our properties have age restrictions, such as where we feel it would not be suitable for younger all adult groups, such as within quiet residential areas where noise may be an issue.

Parking

Unfortunately our apartments overlooking the harbour do not have allocated parking however there is a car park directly opposite the apartment chargeable at £1 an hour up to £6 a day between the hours of 8am – 7pm.

For the comfort of others smoking is not permitted within our properties so please refrain from smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas only.

Waterside Location

This property is within a 1 minute walk of the harbour foreshore, a 2 minute walk to Endeavour and Haslar Marinas or a 7 minute drive to Stokes Bay Beach.

Neighbours

All our properties are located within residential areas so we do have neighbours whom we need to consider. If you feel you could comfortably monitor noise levels then we would love to have you stay and have had countless guests who have had a great time with us at our properties. If however you feel that it would not be possible to monitor noise levels, then we would have to recommend you consider something more rural, without neighbours.

The nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour which is in Portsmouth, so you will need to get the short 4 minute ferry across to Gosport. The ferry sails every 5-15 minutes from Portsmouth Harbour station depending on the time of day.

If arriving in the UK, the closest international airports are Southampton (20 miles/32 km – a 25 min drive), London Heathrow (72 miles/116 km – a 1.2 hour drive) or London Gatwick (84 miles/135 km – a 1.4 hour drive).

Shops

There are a number of convenience stores within the High Street which are within a couple of minute walk or the nearest large supermarkets are Aldi, PO12 1BG (a 2 min drive) or Morrisons, PO12 1NG (a 3 min drive).

Being on the edge of the High Street and the harbour entrance there are a number of good pubs and restaurants close to the property such as The Great Wall of China Chinese Restaurant, The Castle Pub and Restaurant, Nelson’s Pub and Restaurant. The Star (Wetherspoons) Pub and Restaurant, Katie’s Bar and Restaurant, Hardy’s at Haslar Restaurant etc

Walking, Running & Cycling

Grocery Delivery

Many major supermarkets now offer click & collect, or home delivery if booked in advance through their online shops. We are also in an Amazon Prime Now delivery area.

Taxi Services

There are a number of local taxi firms; such as Andicars, Aqua Cars, Bridge Cars, Busters Cars, Hardway Cabs, Streamline, Skyline as well as Uber, plus you are a 2 minute walk away from the ferry taxi rank.

At this property there are plenty of options on either Deliveroo, Just Eat or UberEats.

FAQs

Check in times are between 4 - 6pm (unless agreed otherwise) with checkout by 10am on day of departure. If an early check in or late departure time is required then we will do what we can to help, however if this is vital for your plans we recommend guests book the extra night.
Bedding, linen and bathroom towels are provided for the number of guests booked to stay with a complimentary linen and towel change carried out for stays of 10 nights and over. Additional bedding is available if required at the cost of £25 per set to include 2 medium sized bath towels. If additional towels over those provided are requested these can also be supplied at a cost of £1 per hand towel and £2 per medium sized bath towel. The above is part of our environmental and sustainability program, which is designed to reduce waste, with all our properties provided with washing machines for your use if required, plus you are welcome to bring additional bedding/towels if you wish. An additional mid term maid cleaning service is also available for a cleaner to attend for 4 hours at a cost of £60 and please contact us if required.
We are understandably sensitive about what surfaces items such as balloons and banners are fixed or stuck to so would be happy to put these up for you to limit any possible damage, but would not wish to take on the responsibility of choosing and purchasing these items for you in case we did not get it quite right. However, if you wished to mail the items you would like us to put up for you, to our office address 45a Stoke Road, Gosport, Hants, PO12 1LS, at least 7 days prior to your arrival, we will endeavour to have these put up where possible, in time for your arrival.

Comfortable stay in Gosport

Great !!! Good size, very comfortable and well equipped. We did not explore Gosport as much as we thought, but the apartment was in a good location to the ferry/high street and shops. We all agreed (all 7 of us) that we would stay again.

Ideal for Work

We were a group of 8 staying in Portsmouth for work, this was an ideal flat (all single beds). Right opposite the ferry to Gunwharf which takes 4 minutes & an accommodating host just a phone call away!

Harbour View 4 was lovely

Harbour View 4 was lovely, really clean and modern. The area was good, we all had a great Chinese at 'The Great Wall of China' and found a good pub around the corner :-) Complete's administration from the time of enquiry and booking was amazing.

Great find

Brilliant location for Portsmouth / Gunwharf exploring but also old fashioned seaside fun at Southsea, Stokes bay and Lee On The Solent. Apartment clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great cafe nearby of breakfast treats and all the restaurants you could ask for across the water. Easy access to local and regional public transports opening up endless possibilities.

Very friendly from start to finish of our holiday

From the start of the booking our holiday, and talking to Sophie, to arriving and Sarah coming to meet us at Gosport ferry, and showing us around our holiday rental. The place was nice and clean, cupboards were well stocked with cups, glasses etc, and it was lovely, that there was milk and a few goodies, after a six hour drive it was nice to make cups of tea and coffee and nibbles without having to rush to the shops. Brilliant location for ferry and bus station, breakfast in the cafe below was great and staff were friendly, we had a fabulous stay as we went to Gosport for a surprise golden wedding party and as usual, I didn't want to go home, thank you.

Booked this for a group of our lads working in Fareham

I booked this for a group of our lads working in Fareham, 7 in total including myself. Sarah is lovely, very helpful and pleasure to deal with. The apartment was clean with 2 shower rooms all very clean and in working order. Full use of a kitchen with a table to sit at and a tv room with a small sofa and chair. The place is above some shops handy for takeaways and the high street is around the corner. The ferry terminal is across the road and will take you to Portsmouth in 4 mins. Overall very good.

Ideally Situated in Central Gosport

Our stay at Harbour View 4 was perfect and the unit more than met our needs. The unit itself was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. We were very comfortable and street noise as reported in other posts was not too much of a problem. The unit is ideally situated for Gosport High Street and the ferry to Gunwharf keys. The staff were great and we had an enjoyable time.

Det var kort responstid og god kommunikasjon med forvalteren i forkant. Veldig hyggelig å bli møtt av eier ved ankomst, så blide og hyggelige. Fikk en god beskrivelse av leiligheten og hva man kan gjøre av aktiviteter rundt i nærområdet. Og også tips til noe å se og gjøre lengre unna. Translation: There was a short response time and good communication with the manager in advance. Very nice to be greeted by the owner on arrival, so cheerful and pleasant. Got a good description of the apartment and what activities you can do in the local area. And also tips for things to see and do further afield.

Excellent apartment

Complete Accommodation were great to deal with through our stay and booking process. Harbour View 4 location was very good next to the Gosport ferry and bus station making easy access to Portsmouth harbour train station. There are plenty of shops, take away and restaurants around the area. The apartment was excellent with each of the bedrooms having views of the Spinnaker Tower and the harbour. Well equipped kitchen and comfy lounge, with 2 good sized bathrooms awesome for 6 people and was warm and comfortable in the chilly weather. The apartment was also completely cleaned once a week with towel and bedding change which was an added bonus. Sarah the owner was amazing from the start helping with our late check in, Christmas tree request and our late check out. Seemed nothing was a hassle, with very prompt responses to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again and would go through Complete Accommodation they made our family holiday from Australia a fantastic visit.
