A perfect family break in an ideal setting.
Delighted to tell you what a fabulous time we all had. We found Complete Holiday Homes very easy and friendly to deal with. As staycation numbers were going through the roof whilst we were trying to book an already taken alternative, proactively you guys quickly found Grove Lodge as an alternative to ensure we got something we wanted and thank you for that. The house was perfect for our group, clean and pleasant spacious and well apportioned. It really was ideal, and in my opinion the price point was spot on. This was a slightly different holiday for us, a big opportunity to get the family together. Whilst the younger adults in the group were meeting friends in Portsmouth and out more socially, this gave us time to sit and chat and enjoy the beautiful gardens. There is so much here for all travellers, The Jurassic Coast, New Forest, great shopping, so much history, museums, bars, good food - everything we needed. Local shops and supermarkets plugged any gaps. We really had a great stay, thank you. Us Brooks' will definitely book again in the future.

Perfect
Grove Lodge is perfect for celebrations and family reunions with all its social space. Unlike other homes who advertise they are perfect for large parties but then don’t have enough chairs around the table Grove Lodge really is what is advertised. Loads of space for a big group, beautiful garden and the pool table/table tennis option is fab! We requested a specific check in time and it was so useful when this was arranged for us.

Amazing holiday!
I booked Grove Lodge to celebrate my birthday with friends and we all had an amazing time. There was plenty of room for everyone, even around the dining table. The property was very clean and had great appliances. The location was perfect for our group, it's close to loads of shops and the ferry to Portsmouth is in walking distance. The owner of the property was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Overall it was a fantastic holiday at a great location, we will definitely be back in the future!

Fantastic family holiday home
We had a fabulous time and thought Grove Lodge was a fantastic space for a family holiday. The number of rooms allowed a bit of quiet time for those not used to having toddlers around. We all appreciated the lovely garden and one of the toddlers adored the trampoline! We enjoyed the walk to Stokes Bay on several occasions and the children were very excited with the ferry over to Gunwharf Quays. The provision of highchairs and stair gates made for a much more relaxed holiday. Complete Holiday Homes were very thorough and response time was fast.

Great stay, great house, great location
Grove Lodge is a lovely house, well situated in Gosport. Easy access to Hasler Harbour (we were here for sailing), but also walking distance to the Ferry and the town. The house was comfy and cosy with all the amenities that our group needed. Our group was only 6, so we had lots of room. We had a fantastic week here and are already booked to come back in September. Thank you for accommodating us, the house was perfect.

Great house for a family get together
We really enjoyed our stay at Grove Lodge. The layout of the house and rooms were perfect for our needs. It was nice to have plenty of soap and toilet roll provided in all the bathrooms and also plenty of towels. It was also great to have a dishwasher, as we weren’t expecting to have one. We were lucky to have good weather and the children enjoyed playing in the garden and the little playhouse. We were able to go out for a walk and some of our group got the ferry to Gunwharf Quays, which they enjoyed. I would recommend Grove Lodge to others.

Great house
We absolutely loved Grove Lodge, it looked great from the photos but was even more spacious and lovely in real life. It was a great size and well spaced out for 10 of us to comfortably enjoy the hen weekend. The hired hot tub was such an added bonus, thanks for having us we really enjoyed it!

Wonderful family stay!
Grove Lodge is a fab house, in a great location! We would definitely return. The dining table was for perfect for a large group to dine together, play games etc. it also turned into a pool/ping pong table which was an added bonus and encouraged some friendly competition! Lots of bathrooms which was great when we all got ready to go out. Room for 4 cars on the drive. The house had everything we could need for our stay, no complaints here and we had a perfect time celebrating our dads 50th Birthday.

Grove Lodge stay
Grove Lodge is the perfect family friendly home, we had three 2 year olds and they had the best time there on the trampoline and in the play house. A really good sized house if you have a large family, everything exactly as described and very central in the city which is always a bonus. Thank you for our stay everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent property for groups
We had a great time at this property - the space was great, even better than the photos, and the addition of the trampoline and children’s toys in the back garden kept our little ones entertained for hours. The house was clean and well equipped for a big group, and the rooms were spacious enough to add blow up beds / travel cots where needed. We also hired a hot tub for the property while we were there which was very easy to organise with the owner. The location is also great - a 20 min walk with the children to the Gosport ferry across to Portsmouth… and lots of shops and cafes in easy walking distance.

Grove Lodge is a great house
Was perfect for our family group of 10. The beds were very comfortable and had lovely crisp white sheets. The living room was a little tight for us all to sit together but the dining room table accommodated us all for family breakfasts and evening meals perfectly. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to use the garden but we weren't expecting much for February. The location was good for the Gosport Ferry with direct access to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. We found a lovely restaurant in Stokes Bay called Pebbles Fish and Wine Bar (highly recommended). Great menu, very friendly and food was fantastic! Its a lovely house and we had a fantastic family getaway, thank you

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Grove Lodge!
We certainly enjoyed our stay at Grove Lodge! We got married on the Monday, and were then able to have our honeymoon with our friends at the house. We all enjoyed our stay, and we loved the character of the building too! We enjoyed it so much that we'd love to re-book it for the same time next year. We're actually thinking of making this a yearly get-together, and Grove Lodge allows us to be together, but still have our own rooms should we want some quiet time to ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
