Great base for exploring
Century House is a pleasant, clean, and bright property in a good location for exploring Portsmouth and Southampton. The kitchen was well stocked, the accommodation comfortable, and the neighbourhood quiet. A highlight each morning was taking the dog for a walk in the local park overlooking the Spinnaker Tower and the Royal Navy’s two new aircraft carriers.

Century House and Cambrian House
We stayed at both Cambrian House and Century House (situated next door to one another) through Complete Holiday Homes in Gosport. Both homes are beautifully laid out, fully equipped and have a fabulous amount of glasses, crockery and cutlery, as well as large cooking pots and dishes suitable for a big party. I've stayed at many big houses for weekends away and this was the best equipped I've ever seen! The gate in the garden was ideal, meaning people could go between both properties without going onto the main road, the gas BBQ and the amount of off-road parking too is excellent. Your intro/ handover was very comprehensive and we felt all set to enjoy our time there.

Century House, Gosport
Great base for exploring the area. Century House was very well equipped and the garden was lovely, we enjoyed the hired hot tub too. Table tennis/pool table was great for the kids and all of us on rainy days. We had an enjoyable trip to Marwell Zoo and to the Isle of Wight plus did lots of local walks from the house. The Jolly Roger around the corner was a great local pub and Lee on Solent was worth a visit. All communication with Complete Holiday Homes was good and any issues we had were dealt with promptly. We as a group had never visited the area previously and knew little about it though we would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely week
My sister and I grew up in Gosport so it was quite nostalgic but made us appreciate the rich naval history of the area. We had a full programme of visits for the week so now home for a rest! Visits we did were Ultimate Explorer Dockyard ticket so we did Mary Rose, Victory and The Warrior and Harbour Tour plus the Submarine and Explosion Museum in Gosport. The D-Day Story, Model Village and Canoe Lake in Southsea, Jane Austen's House in Chawten, Fishbourne Roman Palace and Chichester Cathedral where there were nesting Peregrine Falcons. Also the Weald and Downland Museum and saw the people from The Repair Shop. Century House was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there. The downstairs toilet didn't flush but this was repaired on the Monday which was excellent. We appreciated the welcome biscuits etc. and also enjoyed seeing the fox in the garden. Booking and admin was all easy and straight forward. It was a super week with amazing weather.

Great time at Century House
We had a lovely time at Century House, everything was well thought of and in great condition. The beds were very comfortable in all rooms and the kitchen had everything we required. We found our way to the local park for the dog, enjoyed a roast at the Jolly Roger (as recommended by Ken) had a nice chinese takeaway from round the corner and generally had a great time. The local E1 bus was also very efficient and convenient to use.

The property was very clean and spacious and a great place to stay
The area surrounding was very good as it was very close to lots of restaurants, shops and things to do. We hired the hot tub for our stay which was thoroughly enjoyed by all ages. We found the staff provided quick responses and it was booked very quickly.

Very well equipped, comfy and clean
We had a very good stay at Century House, close to family and friends. The house was very well equipped, comfy and clean. Complete Accommodation were very easy to deal with and helpful when called upon. Only one slight issue was upstairs floorboards creaked quire loudly if people used the loo in the night. We would stay here again though without hesitation.
